Ironiya sudby, ili S legkim parom!/ Ironia sortii - Sa va fie de bine! (1975)



Scurta descriere:

Comedie rusa cu un succes colosal durand peste 30 de ani. Film ce a impus o traditie inca din timpurile cand in Uniunea Sovietica nu erau decat 2 canale de televiziune. Intrucat antreneaza evenimente ce au loc in noaptea de revelion, a devenit traditional pentru canalele TV cu transmisiune in limba rusa sa puna comedia pe post in ajun de An Nou.

Este binecunoscuta slabiciunea rusilor pentru baie - loc in care, conform replicii din film, omul nu doar se spala, ci si traieste un eveniment cultural. "Semnificativa" pentru aspectul cultural este sticla de vodca pe care clientii o aduc cu sine in ciuda tuturor interdictiilor. In astfel de imprejurari, in aburii baii si ai bauturii, protagonistul Jenya Lukashin, care este asteptat de logodnica sa pentru a intampina impreuna cu ea Anul Nou, se imbata crita. Prietenii din gasca, nu mai lucizi decat eroul, il trimit cu avionul la Leningrad (numele Petersburgului in perioada sovietica), confundandu-l cu Pavel, care chiar trebuia sa zboare in acest oras. Nimerit intr-o urbe straina, Lukashin nu-si da seama ca nu mai e la Moscova. Nimereste intr-un alt apartament, care, prin ironia soartei, are acelasi numar, e mobilat in acelasi fel si se afla pe o strada cu acelasi nume ca si apartamentul moscovit al sau - aluzie directa la uniformitatea sovietica, la constructiile-calapod, lipsite de gust estetic si de individualitate. In acest apartament sta Nadia Selezniova, care isi asteapta mirele pentru a serba revelionul. De la inceput frustrata din cauza nepoftitului, Nadia il indrageste treptat pe Lukashin.

Cu toata fabula simpla, filmul cucereste prin seva replicii si jocul actoricesc regizat genial de Eldar Ryazanov. Dupa afirmarea regizorului insusi, reusita filmului se datoreaza abundentei poeziei de calitate, altfel mai putin popularizata in anii degradarii spirituale din epoca deloc infloritoare a comunismului.

Istoria Maestrului si a Margaretei se intinde de-a lungul celor 10 episoade ale serialului, de la inceputurile crestinatatii, pana in anii ’30, in Rusia condusa de Lenin si Stalin. Planurile ei se intretaie in mod surprinzator si ambiguu. Iisus Hristos, Diavolul, un scriitor sinucigas, Pilat din Pont, un motan enorm, impatimit dupa votca si trabucuri, si Margareta, cea mai frumoasa femeie din lume, sunt personajele aproape neverosimile ale acestei povesti despre iubire, disperare si mantuire, care a schimbat fata literaturii.

Actiunea serialului este plasata in Moscova epocii lui Stalin si, deopotriva, in Ierusalimul guvernat de Pontiu Pilat si cuprinde mai multe fire narative, care se constituie intr-o insolita impletire de istorie, religie si politica. Sacrificiile Maestrului, un talentat scriitor rus, autor al unui manuscris despre Pilat din Pont, sunt prezentate in paralel cu povestea biblica a lui Ieshua Ha-Notsri din Ierusalim. Realitatea este distorsionata de catre Satan-Woland si de catre locotenentii acestuia, care manipuleaza destinele oamenilor, speculandu-le slabiciunile si pacatele. Maestrul e un personaj autobiografic, iar arderea manuscrisului, o aluzie la gestul similar al lui Bulgakov, supus amenintarii autoritatilor sovietice.

Incercari de a ecraniza in Rusia celebrul roman au fost mai multe, insa regizorul Vladimir Bortko a devenit primul care a reusit sa duca acest proiect pana la capat. Maestrul si Margareta este cea de-a doua lucrare de anvergura realizata de acest regizor in ultimii ani, dupa serialul Idiotul (ecranizarea romanului lui Dostoievski), care a fost distins in 2004 cu prestigiosul premiu „Soljenitan". In opinia regizorului Bortko, Maestrul si Margareta a fost o lucrare ca oricare alta, iar chestiunea cu misticismul, crede el, au inventat-o cei care au ratat filmul, pentru a se justifica. „N-am avut probleme cu romanul si ecranizarea lui", a comentat regizorul intr-un interviu acordat ziaristilor rusi. „Dificultatea a constat doar in a gasi o cale de a transpune in mod adecvat romanul in film. A fost o sarcina serioasa si imi era putin frica. Dupa complexitatea filmarilor, serialul Maestrul si Margareta este comparabil cu Razboi si pace. N-am facut decupaje, am filmat aproape de text”.

Inedit este faptul ca, pentru a respecta nu numai romanul lui Bulgakov, dar si aspectele istorice, regizorul a ales sa intoarca totul pe dos: la Sankt Petersburg a filmat Moscova anilor ’30, in Bulgaria, palatul lui Irod, iar Golgota a filmat-o in Crimeea. O alta poveste este deja cunoscuta in lumea cinematografiei: pana in 2005, toate tentativele de a transpune pe pelicula celebrul roman al lui Mihail Bulgakov, Maestrul si Margareta, au esuat, iar actorii care fusesera distribuiti in productiile niciodata finalizate au avut mari probleme. Totusi, Vladimir Bortko a avut curajul sa duca pana la capat un astfel de proiect, chiar daca si echipa lui a fost afectata de ghinion.

Mai intai, interpreta Margaretei, frumoasa Anna Kovalciuk, a divortat, declarand presei ca totul s-a petrecut pe neasteptate si nici ea nu intelege exact ce s-a intamplat. Apoi, actorul Oleg Basilasvili, interpretul lui Voland, si-a pierdut vocea. Tot pe neasteptate. Dupa ce a petrecut o zi intreaga la filmari, Oleg a sosit acasa noaptea tarziu. S-a culcat, iar dimineata, cand s-a trezit, nu mai putea sa scoata un cuvant. Doctorul a impus ca actorul sa faca o pauza cu vocea de doua luni, lucrarile de sonorizare a filmului fiind amanate.
