Biografie
Lee Byung-hun (născut la 12 iulie 1970 în Seul) este un actor din Coreea de Sud. Lee nu este singura vedeta din familie , sora sa lucrand in modeling si castigand titlul de "Mis Correa" in 1996 . El este faimos pentru rolurile lui Park Chan-wook din "Joint Security Area", Kim Ji-woon din A Bittersweet Life", şi din dramele coreene "IRIS" si "ALL IN". El a debutat la Hollywood în "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra".
Lee a debutat în 1991, cand a jucat in drama de televiziune "Asphalt My Hometown". Mai târziu filmul lui Lee, Joint Security Area, a fost un mare succes, depăşind în încasări filmul "Shiri". După rolul din "Bungee Jumping of Their Own", Lee a devenit apreciat pe o scară mult mai largă.
Byung-hun a jucat recent un rol în filmul "Everybody Has Secrets", cu Choi Ji Woo, Chu Sang Mi şi Kim Hyo Jin, un film despre trei surori care se îndragostesc de acelasi barbat. "A Bittersweet Life", lansat în 2005, a fost bine primit de critici. Un remake american este în pregatire.
În 2005, Lee si-a lansat biografia Brave and Human, în care a vorbit despre viaţa şi cariera. În decembrie 2007, s-a confirmat că Lee a fost ales pentru rolul lui Storm Shadow în G.I. Joe. A lansat un album în 2008. În octombrie-decembrie 2009 Lee a fost ales sa-l joace pe Kim Hyun Jun impreuna cu Kim Tae Hee in drama coreeana "IRIS". Lee joaca in 2013 în thriller-ul regizat de Kim Jee-woon "I Saw the Devil" alături de Choi Min-sik.

Personal life
Lee has a younger sister, Lee Eun-hee, who was Miss Korea in 1997. He graduated from Hanyang University with a major in French Literature and the Graduate School of Chung-Ang University with a major in Theater and Cinematography.
Lee dated his All In co-star Song Hye-kyo; they broke up in 2004. In his spare time, Lee Byung-hun practices taekwondo. Lee married actress Lee Min-jung on August 10, 2013 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul.[22][23][24][25] The couple had briefly dated in 2006, then resumed their relationship in 2012

Actorul Lee Byung Hun a fost distribuit în blockbuster-ul filmului de la Hollywood "Terminator: Genesis," o repornire a seriei "Terminator". Nu s-a specificat nimic cu privire la rolul său, dar s-a spus că Lee Byung Hun va juca un rol-cheie în film.
"Terminator: Geneza" este începutul unei trilogii despre viața tinerei Sarah și a tatălui lui John Connor, Kyle Reese. Primul film are provizoriu stabilită premiera în America de Nord în luna iulie a anului viitor, cu Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, și Jason Clark. Filmul va fi regizat de Alan Taylor, care a regizat cel mai recent "Thor:. Dark World"
Lee Byung Hun a apărut anterior în mai multe filme de la Hollywood, printre care seria "GI Joe ", și" Red: The Legend ".Va fi interesant de văzut ce fel de rol va avea în acest nou film.

Lee Byeong-Heon în "The Insiders"
Actorul Lee Byeong-Heon va juca în noul film "The Insiders", film bazat pe originalul web-toon a lui Yoon Tae-ho.
Regizat de Woo Min-ho, acest film arunca o privire la corupția și neregulile adânc înrădăcinate în societatea coreeană.
Lee Byeong-Heon va juca rolul lui Ahn Sang-goo, un gangster politic care ajunge la pământ după ce face toate treburile celor rang superior și decide sa se răzbunare împotriva lor.
Lee Byeong-Heon este un star international care a jucat în filme cunoscute de la Hollywood, dintre care "G.I.Joe 2", "RED: The Legend" dar și altele.
E de așteptat să joace un personaj diferit fata de cele pe care le-a facut pana acum.
Daca e adevarat(si fara foc nu iese fum...)imi pare rau pentru sotia lui !

Lee Byung-heon continues to land Hollywood projects, it’s a bummer he continues to get typecast in villainous roles. He’s in final negotiations to play a supporting role in Beyond Deceit, which will star Anthony Hopkins as an executive of a corrupt pharmaceutical firm and Dan Stevens as the young lawyer fighting to take the big pharma company down. Al Pacino will play Stevens’ mentor, while Lee’s role would be that of a hit man. The movie will mark the directorial debut of writer Shintaro Shimosawa, and filming starts in New Orleans next month.
