|  Winter Sonata 2' is being planned. Its synopsis will come out next month. A staff from the production company of 'Winter Sonata', PAN Entertainment said on April 14th during the phone conversation with OSEN, "'Winter Sonata 2' is being planned. Producer Yoon Seok-ho will be responsible for the overall production and writers Yoon Eun-kyeong and Kim Eun-hee, who wrote the previous sequel, are in charge of the screenplay again. Director has not been decided yet. The first draft of the synopsis will be out next month". About the question on the purpose to have become to plan 'Winter Sonata 2', the production company said, "There is not any ambitious purpose or mission in (planning 'Winter Sonata 2'). However we thought it would be great to bring back the memory to the viewers in Korea as well as in Japan, who were touched by the drama at the time. It's like our elaborate gift we could give back to the public. We started planning in order to make a good project out of the simple and humble intention". 'Winter Sonata', 2001 is a melodrama starring Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo.
